Prior to Excel Fitness, Jeff was a combat arms officer in the Army who moved on to technology and strategy roles at USAA, McKinsey and a variety of start-ups.

Rachel founded upace after she graduated college because she realized the need in the fitness industry to better engage and motivate gym members using mobile technology. Drawing upon her own experiences and further research into the industry, she developed a tech solution to help gym owners streamline operations and member communications – and help members gain access to fitness–at their fingertips. With over 30 years’ experience in the global Health & Fitness industry, Mike Leveque is the Chief Operating Officer of MYZONE. After working at a 17 acre multisport health club in Southern California for 5 years, Mike spent 18 years with Core Industries/Star Trac, where he held various positions in sales, sales operations and finance. In 2004, he moved to the UK to look after the company's European operations as EMEA Managing Director. During this time, he opened subsidiary offices in Spain, Germany and France and developed third party distribution in the rest of Europe and Africa.
